About the Role:
  • We are seeking a Peripheral Operator to join our team in the Data Center.
  • This entry-level position involves operating various printers, inserters, finishing or mail processing machines, as well as providing infrastructure equipment support in Hardware Operations.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Operate computer peripheral equipment under the guidance of senior staff members
  • Perform basic machine jam and operator level service actions
  • Prepare production control reports as directed
  • Perform clerical tasks related to inventory and outgoing product control
  • Interact with computer terminals to queue work and respond to messages
  • Assist with manual document assembly, postage application, or packaging
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
 
Education Qualification:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
 
Required Skills:
  • 1 year of data center/print center related work experience preferred
  • General working knowledge of computer peripheral hardware or ability to learn
  • Solid grasp of basic math skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Clear oral communication skills
  • Ability to plan and manage individual job layout and materials
