About the Role:

• We are looking for an RF Field Technician to join our Wireless Connectivity Team.
• The role involves installing, supporting, and maintaining various radio equipment, cellular modems, boosters, satellite communications equipment.
• The position requires responding to trouble tickets, performing preventive maintenance tasks, installing systems, and acting as a customer interface.
• This role also involves responding to technical needs after hours and during storm response.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, configuration, diagnostics, analysis, repairs, or replacement of hardware for end-user radios, base stations, cellular modems, bi-directional amplifiers, satellite communication equipment, and related components.
• Conduct on-site RF and cellular coverage studies.
• Assist with updating technical documentation including drawings, inventories, and instructional documents.
• Provide technical break-fix support to end users for escalated tickets.
• Monitor the Client Support ticket queue to ensure timely resolution.
• Other duties as assigned or necessary.
• Requires use of a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement.

 Education Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in relevant technical field preferred.

 Required Skills:

• Knowledge and experience with installing and supporting wireless technologies.
• Experience with radio systems, end-user equipment support, cellular modems, and boosters.
• Ability to participate in large technical projects.
• General IT skills.
• Strong communication skills with experience communicating to customers and management.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
