Responsibilities:•Retrieve medical records via EMR or fax request, ensuring HIPAA compliance•Call provider offices to request or validate facility and provider addresses•Upload records and document outreach efforts•Conduct Medical Record Abstraction and Research during the Medical Record Review Project•Utilize software applications to support HEDIS operations•Facilitate medical record abstraction for gap closure and data gathering•Maintain productivity levels as specified by the QI Department•Ensure compliance with HIPAA and member confidentiality requirements•Perform all other assigned dutiesEducation Qualification:•Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Associates Degree in Nursing, Diploma in NursingRequired Skills:•5 years of recent HEDIS abstractions/overreads experience•Proficiency in HEDIS measures and Quality Measures•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team•Knowledge of clinical practices and medical terminology•Proficiency in MS Office and web-based technology
