Position Details:

Role:        Hadoop Developer
Terms: -   12 -18 Months 

Position Summary:

  • Seeking a skilled and experienced Hadoop Developer with a strong background in Java and Kafka to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable big data applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build data solutions that support our business goals.

Must Haves:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, and HBase.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
  • Expertise in Apache Kafka for building data pipelines and real-time processing.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools, such as Apache Hive or Impala.
  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.

Plusses:

  • Experience with other big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, or Storm.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
