Position: Sr. Org Effectiveness Partner
Location: Hybrid Onsite
  • #1 preference: Pleasanton, CA
  • #2 preference: Atlanta, GA
    Duration: 1 year with potential for extension or conversion to full-time

About the Role
As a Sr. Org Effectiveness Partner, you will report to the Director of People Business Partners (Finance and P&P). You will primarily focus on Marketing, BT (IT), Legal, and Corporate Development, and be part of a larger Organization Effectiveness Community of Practice within the PBP & OE Organization. Your primary responsibility is to activate the core ingredient of Workday's success: its people.
This role emphasizes four key areas:
  1. Aligning Business Strategy to Talent Strategy
  2. Org Effectiveness Strategy and Program Development
  3. Org Transformation
  4. Talent Strategy Consulting

Business Qualifications
Successful candidates will have at least 10 years of HR and Organization Effectiveness (OE) experience, including:
  • Partnering with PBPs to facilitate organizational and talent discussions with G&A leaders, including CMO, CIO, CSO, and their leadership teams.
  • Planning and delivering both immediate and multi-year Organizational Transformations.
  • Enhancing Organizational Alignment through small- and large-scale functional reorganizations.
  • Designing and evolving Business Strategy and Operating Models.
  • Identifying and implementing OE/OD initiatives and driving the adoption of OE/OD programs.
  • Contributing to and improving OE/OD programs within the OE Community of Practice.
Other Qualifications
In addition to communication, business acumen, and project management, successful OE Partners excel in the following areas:
  • Strategic Mindset: Apply a holistic approach to align solutions with company strategy.
  • Facilitation: Confidently lead small and large working sessions with VP/SVP/EVP leaders to achieve outcomes.
  • Influencing: Read the room, connect with the audience, and challenge assumptions or the status quo.
  • Global Approach: Ensure cultural awareness when designing solutions across global contexts.
