About the Role:

• We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team.
• The Accountant will be responsible for various accounting activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close process, and audit preparation.
• The ideal candidate will ensure that all deliverables comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and contribute to special projects within the department and organization.

Responsibilities:

• Verify general ledger data through monthly reconciliations and analyses  Resolve outstanding issues through research and analysis
• Prepare monthly journal entries with supporting documentation
• Work on special projects as necessary, including implementing new processes
• Improve accounting knowledge through educational workshops and professional development
• Assist in cross-training, documenting procedures, and responding to audit requests
• Provide guidance to less experienced staff

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field

Required Skill:

• 5 years of accounting experience with a focus on financial reconciliations Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and
• written form
  Strong analytical skills to recognize, analyze, and solve problems 
• Proficient in using analytical accounting software tools
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting regulations
• Ability to interpret contractual arrangements and design appropriate accounting flows
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
