DayToDay Responsbilities:

  • Monitor database performance
  • Manage user accounts
  • Back up and restore databases
  • Perform maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Implement security measures
  • Stay updated on PostgreSQL developments
  • Collaborate with development teams

Must Have:

  • 5+ experience in PostGresSQL Database Administration.
  • Database Administration - must be skilled at monitoring and maintaining databases.   Able to optimize the performance of the database, ensure smooth functioning, and monitor its security.
  • Security - must have the necessary skills to maintain the security of the database. They should know how to manage access and monitor the database for security breaches. .
  • Backup – skilled at maintaining regular database backups.
  • Performance Tuning – experience with database performance tuning.
  • Data Modelling - Data modeling skill, to be able to create a visual representation of the database and optimize it for usage.
  • Linux/Unix Server  Administration
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory
