Detailed Job Description:  

Title: Service Center Coordinator 

Location: Lakewood, CA, 90712 

Role: 100% Onsite  

Duration: 12 Months   

Pay range - $20/hr to $22/hr

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform shipping/receiving of domestic/international equipment and maintain accurate logs 
  • Create and update work tickets using the main application for task management 
  • Coordinate with shipping vendors and handle procurement activities for parts and equipment 
  • Track inventory using the Costpoint system and assist with yearly inventory audits 
  • Coordinate repairs and calibrations with vendors for test equipment 
  •  Assist in tracking tasks, documenting costs for billing, and ensuring smooth operations of the service center 
  • Process bills for payment, greet customers, answer telephones, and handle mail sorting 
  • Prepare office correspondence, maintain project folders, and utilize MS Office software for data organization and reporting 

  

Education Qualification: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Additional certification or training in administrative support is a plus 

  

Required Skills: 

  • 3+ years of administrative experience in a corporate environment 
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders 
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain attention to detail 
  • Problem-solving skills and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities 
  • Experience in handling administrative tasks in a corporate setting
