Job Description :
The DevOps engineer identifies and optimizes the interdependencies between application development and infrastructure operations.
 
Job Responsibilities
 • Participates in a team responsible for configuration, packaging, and deployment of the development software and custom applications for government projects
• Provides subject matter expertise on application server technologies 
• Responsible for key system design and integration decisions around tools, processes, and practices enabling teams to apply DevOps practices 
 • Executes deployment operations to monitor and improve on pre-release, upgrades, and current versions of software 
 • Develops protocols to support established government development standards 
 
Job Skills
• Overall 5+ years of experience in the industry 
• Experience with Azure and AWS resource management 
• Able to write SQL scripts and automation scripts using Python/ansible in Unix or Windows environment. 
• In-depth knowledge of LINUX/UNIX system and working knowledge of UNIX shell scripts and/or PowerShell.
 • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and practical application of IaC to manage infrastructure.
