Role: Application Support Analyst
Location: The Woodlands, TX (Hybrid)
Contract: 1 year + extensions
 
Job Description:
  • This resource will be working closely with the business customers and IT teams to track and resolve issues, identify the correct teams to involve, facilitate meetings, and provide updates and reports.
  • Assist application custodians (owners, architects, SMEs) using various tools and dashboards from ServiceNow, Splunk, and Power BI with application readiness.
  • Generate reporting for application readiness and support activities (issues, exceptions, harvesting)
  • Manage problematic tickets (aging, orphaned, complex, escalated), which requires working with different Product/Capability Teams
  • Collaborate with Change Management and Product/Capability Teams on identified issues/outage communications
Key Skills:
  • Experience on a project that involved deploying infrastructure applications or deploying thousands of laptops.
  • Infrastructure/application analyst experience -someone who can step in if a user is having issues launching an application. 
  • Issue resolution experience 
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint presentation
  • PowerBI
