About the Role:

• The Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing multi-discipline engineering leadership for natural gas capital projects, specifically focusing on civil engineering design and construction scope for Metering, Regulation, and Controls department projects.
• This role will involve working closely with project engineers, project managers, and operations to support various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and scope the civil engineering design and construction scope required for project completion
• Contract engineering services needed to complete the scope
• Provide engineering review and technical leadership
• Assist Project Manager in contracting construction services
• Complete closeout activities including record drawings and test records

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge in civil design including site design, stormwater management, and foundation design
• Experience in coordinating and developing contract documents for engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Familiarity with Civil/Structural codes such as IBC/MBC, AISC Steel Construction Manual, and ACI 318
