About the Role:

  • We seek a Project Engineer III specializing in Electrical Instrumentation and Controls (EI&C) to join our Gas Compression Engineering department.
  • The Project Engineer III will oversee engineering deliverables for modifications and new construction projects related to the natural gas compression fleet.
  • This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, construct, and maintain natural gas compression stations, facilities, and support processes for utility operations
  • Provide leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to complete projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company regulations
  • Led or assisted with engineering projects including design, inspections, system planning, environmental impacts, permits, contracts, and construction observation
  • Communicate technical expertise effectively to colleagues and clients
  • Serve as an onsite engineering project representative and monitor progress at operating and construction sites

 

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

 

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of governmental and company laws, standards, and procedures
  • Familiarity with project plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
