Client:        Banking

Role:           SQL Developer

Terms:        12-18 mos Contract To Hire

Location:    Jersey City, NJ & Plano TX

• Hands-on application development to support the current and target process across the SDLC – design, build, test, deploy support.
• Significant experience in SQL programming and development including SSMS, SSRS, SSAS, CUBE (Star Schema).
• Building ad-hoc reports using CUBE, Snowflake, Tableau, and generic SQL.
• Building Graph database using tools like Neo4J, Tiger graph, etc.
• Deep data analysis, triaging, identifying data gaps, patterns, behavior to support enhancements and user requests.
• Proficiency in debugging complex SQL Code to generate and identify data gaps and logical enhancements.
• Working with large data-sets (~100 million records).
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align database solutions accordingly.
• Ensuring data integrity, security, and performance in the modernized database environment.
• Providing technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of database changes.
• Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in both traditional databases and big data.
• Preferred experience in Financial data such Trade data, Reference data, etc. to build functional calculation modules, reports, and dashboards.
• Preferred experience in functional knowledge of GRRP (Global Recovery and Resolution Planning) regulatory needs in terms of data, calculations.
