Position Title :  Staff Accountant
Type                   :  Full Time
Location        :    Woodland, TX
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Activity Recording - Record and process monthly accounting activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations for various corporate accounts,
  • Month-End Closing - Assist in the month-end closing process, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow management, and financial report preparation,
  • Financial Statement Preparation - Help prepare monthly financial statements and relevant information for the monthly reporting package,
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance,
  • 1 - 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry,
  •  Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting,
  •  Excellent organizational and time management skills,
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA certification or progress towards certification,
  • Experience with IFS or similar ERP systems,
  • Experience with ERP implementations and integrations,
