Job Description:  

Client: Banking  

Position:  DevOps Engineer 

Duration:  12 months    

Location: Jersey City, NJ 

Day-to-day Responsibilities: 

• This role involves configuration and maintenance of repos, builds and deployment plans components for multiple releases.  

• As a DevOps Engineer he/she will apply industry accepted practices for developing & monitoring the applications as per the Design Document and helping in implementing them to production environment using Agile Methodology. 

Required Skills: 

• Experience in DevOps – Build/Deploy, Cloud Knowledge, Container 

• Container/cloud experience 

• Java background 

• Experience with automation/ integration tools like Jenkins 

• Knowledge of major cloud service providers, like AWS, Azure etc. 

• Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Programmable Infrastructure), and how you can achieve that by using tools like Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc. 

• Hands-on knowledge of software containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
