Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business, technology, and data management leaders, as well as other line of business horizontal service teams and Enterprise functions, for the execution of data management deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with data policies and procedures.
  • Support the resolution of data quality defects and data issues.
  • Support data control remediation plans.
  • Support the establishment of applicable data quality controls associated with key business elements.
  • Support all regulatory remediation activities and ensure the mitigation of data management risk.
  • Support Data Management on the establishment and monitoring of key data management risk metrics.
  • Support the identification of data management risk, measure compliance, and assess the effectiveness of controls for risk mitigation.
  • Support the implementation of appropriate data management controls to mitigate data management risk.
  • Support the identification and escalation of key and emerging risks related to data management.
Required Skills:
  • Data validation, data reconciliation, and the ability to be nimble across lots of different sources of data are by far the most important piece of this need.
  • Industry-relevant experience is great but the most important thing is data validation, data lineage, and data management
  • 6 - 10 years of financial services industry experience.
  • Knowledge of the enterprise data domain and data environment construct – data sourcing, conformance, and distribution.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of data governance compliance.
  • Knowledge of data movement, detective, and preventative data quality controls.
  • Extensive business analyst skills including, but not limited to, technical, analytical, communication problem-solving, and research.
  • Experience in technology delivery or technology change and potential resulting risks.
