Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Redwood City, CA 94063 - Onsite Role

Duration: 09 Months - Onsite Role - (Extension/Conversion based on performance) 

Pay Rate: ($53-$54.64)

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile complex accounts, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Data Management: Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including KPIs and dashboards, for management review.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement efficiency improvements.
• System Utilization: Leverage financial systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials) to optimize workflows and enhance accuracy.
• Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to resolve financial issues and provide support.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex financial issues, leveraging analytical skills and critical thinking.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with higher education finance and related regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle Financials).
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Project management experience.
