Job Description:

  • Join a dynamic team driving the innovation of the enterprise Data Lake as part of the Data Platform.
  • This role focuses on engineering, pipelining functionalities, and team leadership in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing an Agile team of 8-10 technical developers and capability specialists.
  • Facilitating communication, coordination, and prioritization of tasks within the team.
  • Defining technical solutions, gathering requirements from customers, and interfacing with cross-functional teams.
  • Leading initiatives to ensure objectives are met and timelines are adhered to.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, emphasizing integration and delivery of virtual/cloud platforms.
  • 3+ years of proven experience with tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and AWS ECS/EKS.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Ansible, and shell scripting for automation.
  • Experience with identity and access management, including:
    • Identity Federation (SAML) and Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
    • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using tools like Duo or Financial ServicesMS Authenticator.
    • API security and integration with IAM systems.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
  • Familiarity with design patterns, Agile methodologies, and production application deployment.
  • Technical proficiency across technologies such as databases, directory services, application servers, Linux, and network infrastructures.
  • Experience with scaling CI/CD systems, static code analysis, and microservices deployment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, self-motivation, and creativity.
  • Availability for periodic 24x7 operational support and complex issue triage.
  • Ability to document engineering solutions and designs effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced studies or certifications in cloud engineering or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines, Groovy/Perl scripting, and API integration.
