About the Role:

• We are looking for a talented News Programmer to join our team and help program the news of the day on app or webisite
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for news and be able to curate content, write engaging headlines, program videos, and manage push notifications.

Responsibilities:

• Program the news of the day app, including curation of content, headline writing, video programming, push notifications and more as needed Support breaking news coverage and assignments across a variety of platforms including desktop, mobile, and on social media platforms
• Support special projects associated with development and growth, collaborating with editorial, product and other teams as needed
• Help execute coverage plans for tentpole events across a variety of content categories, including News, Entertainment, Sports and more
• Closely track metrics and analytics of content to stay abreast of evolving interests across our ecosystem

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field Required
• Skill Strong editorial judgment and news sense
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with content management systems and analytics tools
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of current events and trends across various content categories
