Responsibilities:

• Evaluate enterprise initiatives to ensure information handling conforms to legal, regulatory, and policy requirements.
• Identify potential privacy risks and evaluate alternatives to mitigate them.
• Interpret regulations, develop privacy policies and procedures, and advise business units on implementation.
• Investigate privacy-related issues, perform assessments, and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead the development and delivery of privacy compliance training.
• Ensure privacy standards & policies are understood by the workforce, vendors, and third-parties.
• Develop metrics, analyze trends, and prepare reports for senior management.
• Interact with regulatory agencies for matters relating to privacy and security of Protected Health Information.
• Serve as a resource and subject matter expert to other members of the privacy team.
• Manage special projects and ad-hoc tasks from management.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of compliance experience in a healthcare environment or health insurance industry.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a privacy compliance role.
