Pay Range: $35 to $40/hour

Location: South San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12 months


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team in an integrated early drug development laboratory.
  • Work with different bioanalytical matrices to support FCM assay development.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments to characterize and optimize flow cytometric assays.
  • Execute existing pharmacodynamic assays using established SOPs to support early-stage immune-oncology and immunology R&D projects in a detail-oriented approach.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education with typically 0-3 years of experience, or Master’s Degree or equivalent education with typically zero - two years of experience.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture and/or isolating primary cells.
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and scientific data presentation.
  • Ability to multitask and be highly attentive to detail.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and execute new scientific techniques.
  • Proficiency with MS Office software, including Excel and word; ability to learn new software applications.
  • Strongly preference towards candidate with 2+ years of flow cytometry experience; experience with various BD instruments (i.e. Fortessa, Symphony) is highly desirable.
  • With various flow cytometric analysis software including DIVA, FlowJo, FCS express, and GraphPad is highly desirable.
