An Excellent Opportunity for Cloud Project Manager to work with one of the Biggest Global Bank at Richmond, VA; Kennesaw, GA; Chicago, IL location.

Pay Rate Range: $60/hr - $65/hr

Mission/Why:

 The Cloud Project Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing complex cloud projects that utilize AWS. 

Day-to-Day:

• Help teams develop and drive a plan with well-defined milestones
• Project Scheduling - Establish a project plan, baseline the plan, manage schedule and resource load
• Reviews deliverables prepared by delivery practitioners prior to customer submission, and maintains the overall document repository for the project
• Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users and other internal groups to coordinate project activities
• Participate in team meetings, provide status updates, and work with others to ensure project timelines are met
• Work with the Stakeholders to evaluate secure Cloud Solution Requirements and provide guidance on solution/technical architecture guidance
• Analyse existing business applications and Cloud platform technical requirements to ensure that functional, technical, and application migration changes adhere to global technology standards
• Coordinate with different technical teams responsible for applications’ migration between development, test, Integration, and Production environments
• Manage change requests for all cloud migration activities, and tracks all events associated with those activities to maximize systems availability and avoid errors
• Establish and implement technical project methodologies and processes
• Facilitate the resolution of issues and escalate to senior management as needed

Must Haves:

• 6+ years of experience working in a large-scale IT environment 
  • o Preferably within a financial institution
• 8+ years of project management experience
  • o 1+ years experienced using Agile to deliver projects
• Experience with a software professional services or consulting firm (SaaS preferred), including proven ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical customers alike
• Supported a cloud project 
  • o AWS preferred 
• 10/10 communication skills and ability to communicate with executives 

Plusses

• PMP certification 
• Banking experience
