Pay Range: $23/hr. - $25/hr.

DayToDay Responsbilities:

• Performing server rack installations, hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues, and responding to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required.
• Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
• Helping to train and onboard new team members.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 36+ pounds.
• Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Working in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments
• Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day
• Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation

Must Have:

• They are looking for 70% Hardware experience, 30% network
• Hardware data center experience examples:
• Installing and configuring servers, managing storage devices, performing preventative maintenance on network equipment, troubleshooting hardware issues, replacing faulty components, optimizing cooling systems, managing power distribution units, and ensuring physical security of data center hardware. Experience working with break fix, cabling.
• Examples of network data center experience examples:
• Designing and implementing scalable network infrastructure using technologies optimizing network performance for high-traffic applications, managing network security protocols within the data center, troubleshooting complex network issues, performing capacity planning to accommodate growing data needs, and implementing data center migration strategies to transition to new infrastructure with minimal downtime.
• Familiarity with server components.
