Position: Substation Engineers

Location: Fort Worth, TX 76102

Schedule: Hybrid

Duration: 12 month Contract to hire

Pay Range- $100K-130K/year

Day to Day:

• Conduct client meetings and consultations to define project scopes, locations, and specific requirements.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements across various disciplines.
  Manage administrative tasks and oversee the work of junior engineers within the team.
  Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced engineers, serving as a resource for problem-solving and best practices.
• Utilize personal computer-based engineering design, communication, scheduling, estimating, and word processing computer programs such as MicroStation, PLS-CADD (good to have skill, not a must have), Outlook, Office products.
• Provide design solutions and engineering designs as requested to resolve transmission line, substation, and/or switching station performance problems.

Must Haves:

• Proven experience in linear infrastructure projects, including power lines and pipelines.
  Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD.
  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
  Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.

Preferred:

• P.E. License (Strong preference)
