We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join our team and work on AuthHub initiatives with one of the Big 4 banks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications that support business units or support functions.
• Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives.
• Estimate effort for software applications and coordinate collaboration with external programming teams.
• Provide feedback and technical guidance to project managers on critical issues.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations.
• Lead initiatives in parallel from a software development standpoint to ensure stable, quality deliverables.

Education Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Required Skills:

• Over 6 years of hands-on experience developing mission-critical, large-scale, high-volume enterprise & distributed applications using Java/J2EE.
• Strong understanding of OO design and programming skills with Java.
• Knowledge of using one or multiple J2EE application servers.
• Experience with RESTful Services using the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and SOAP Webservices.
• Experience in Stored Procedures and designing tables.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming.
• Experience with Junit Test cases development, Performance Testing, Optimization, and Code analysis.
• Experience with Relational SQL/PLSQL and No SQL distributed Cassandra Technologies.
• Strong experience with Development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDEs, Maven, GIT, BitBucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk, and SOAP UI.
• Experience in building high volume, scalable, available & distributed technologies.
• Experience with standard development design patterns and handling cross-functional issues by coordinating with distributed development teams.
• Experience with Agile and SDLC development models.
• Knowledge of test-driven development and ability to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment.
