Senior Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:
  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and design solutions that meet business requirements.
  2. Solution Design: Work with Systems Architects, Vendors, and other team members to conceptualize and design solutions that effectively deploy technology to meet client objectives.
  3. Technical and Business Expertise: Apply in-depth technical and business knowledge to develop technical solutions and represent interests of both communities.
  4. Documentation: Define and document system requirements and designs at appropriate levels.
  5. Leadership: Help guide and lead other Systems Analysts.
  6. Project Planning: Collaborate with Project Managers and Senior Architects to formulate project approaches, schedules, and delivery estimates.
Core Competencies and Experience:
  1. Experience: At least 10+ years as a Systems Analyst, preferably with large programs.
  2. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of architecture, application development, system design, and integration.
  4. Technology Recommendations: Ability to provide technology recommendations to business stakeholders.
  5. Leadership and Initiative: Demonstrated initiative and leadership, especially in cross-functional teams.
  6. Teamwork: Proficiency in working in team environments involving diverse technologies/platforms.
  7. Relationship Building: Strong ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships.
  8. Communication: Excellent oral, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  9. Adaptability: Positive attitude and willingness to embrace new challenges.
  10. Conflict Resolution: Ability to resolve and escalate conflicts and issues.
  11. Remote Work: Capable of working remotely with a geographically dispersed team.
Highly Valued Competencies:
  1. Industry Experience: Experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services, particularly in back-office functions and solutions.
Technical Skills:
  1. Must Have:
    • Experience with System Integrations and Cloud (SaaS) implementations.
    • Technical understanding of Azure Active Directory, Single Sign-On, MFA, and 2FA.
    • Role-Based Security and authorization.
    • Ability to create detailed diagrams, flowcharts, and models for business and technical processes.
  2. Nice to Have:
    • Experience with DocuSign, SIEM/SOC (e.g., Sentinel), and ServiceNow.
  3. Documentation Skills:
    • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
    • Enterprise-level configuration for cloud applications.
    • Ability to create non-functional requirements and detailed system specifications for integrations, authorization & authentication, role-based security, system audits, data mapping/migration, operational readiness, and maintenance transition.

  • Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders, both business and technology.
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
  • Initiative and leadership in managing cross-functional team issues.
