Job Title: Project/Program Manager III

Job Location: Virtual

Job Duration: 8 Months Contract

Pay Rate: $60/hr to $62/hr

Job Description:

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects/program.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
• May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Business Group & Key Projects: 

• 80% travel 

• Startup role 

• Deployment for site launches 

• SSD sites, new sits in rural/super-rural 

• Retrofits 

• Tracking items offline 

• Working with stakeholders on orders, configuration, etc. 

• Closer to launch: Work on deployment timeframe 

• PM will be onsite for 14-weeks managing a main vendor/some one-off vendors 

• Projects will be ambiguous in scope1-week to 5/7-week usual time projects 
• May support building launches

Typical Day in the Role: 

• Heads down work but team is large at 30-40 

• Robust virtual communities 
• Very good support system

Candidate Requirements: 

• Bias for action, Deliver results 

• Bachelor's degree 

• 7+ yrs experience 

• Willingness to travel 

• Able to work in ambiguity 
• Experience with new and retrofit projects
