Title: Business Intelligence Engineer II
Location: New York, NY (Onsite)
Duration: 11 Months
Pay range: $52 - $54/Hr
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
  • Experience in understanding and translating ambiguous and complex business problems into data solutions and presenting findings to the leadership
 
 
Daily schedule:
  • Sourcing data and formatting to share to finance stakeholders
  • Building dashboards
  • Pre-analysis of data
  • Coming up with user-friendly views in dashboards
  • Partnering with Analyst Teams to acquire the data
  • Working with senior leadership to gather reporting requirements
  • Ad-hoc requests
  • Working with related teams
  • Automating pipelines
  • Deep dive data projects
  • Statistical modeling a plus
Top 3 must-have hard Skills:
  • SQL
  • Python Scripting
  • Dashboard (Tableau, QuickSight, etc.)
 
Job Requirement
