Job Title: Firewall Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Firewall Infrastructure Specialist to join our Network Service Request Fulfillment team. The role involves designing, engineering, and implementing firewall service requests to ensure efficient and secure infrastructure services delivery. This position requires expertise in network technologies, particularly Fortinet and Checkpoint firewalls, along with a strong ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.

Pay Range: $70 to $75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage firewall rules, NAT rules, and object groups.
• Ensure compliance with architecture standards and policies for production implementations.
• Lead and manage multiple project tracks and collaborate with various teams.
• Handle client interactions, address escalations, and negotiate resolutions effectively.
• Utilize automation and scripting tools like Python, Ansible, PowerShell, Expect, Rancid, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Contribute to networking disciplines, including design, implementation, and operational roles, within an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:
  • Fortinet NSE (1-8) and Checkpoint certifications (CCTA, CCTE, CCSA, CCSE) or equivalent experience.
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications in network technologies.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of network-based technologies and protocols.
  • Proficiency in IT Service Management processes and project management methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Agile).
• Professional Skills:
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience:
  • Background in financial services (insurance, banking, investment banking) is advantageous.
