Client's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) supports global financial crimes investigations and compliance with regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA PATRIOT Act. The team develops transaction monitoring rules, conducts due diligence, screens accounts for sanctioned or politically exposed individuals, and files Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). This role involves sanctions and PEP screenings, enhanced due diligence, and cross-functional collaboration.
