Pay Range - $28 to $30/hr. (negotiable)

Job Description:
Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • BS, or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, bioengineering or related disciplines with industry experience in formulation and/or process development.
  • Must have experience with biologics and/or small-molecule parenteral injectables formulation, drug delivery, and/or manufacturing process development, and related analytical methods.
  • Strong communicator, team player, with curiosity (eager to learn), and with cross functional experiences.

What are the top 5 skills/requirements this person is required have?

  • Required Skill 1: experience with parenteral products (injectables) formulation and/or process development
  • Required Skill 2: working knowledge with one or more manufacturing unit operations (ultrafiltration, diafiltration, freeze drying, spray drying, mixing, filling and/or sterile filtration)
  • Required Skill 3: experience with analytical methods for protein therapeutics (SEC-HPLC, icIEF, Karl Fischer titration, viscometers, fluorescence, DSC, UV-Vis)
  • Required Skill 4: statistical data analysis; hands-on experience with DoE (Minitab, JMP)
  • Required Skill 5: ability to work/think independently

What years of experience, education, and/or certification is required?

  • Scientist I: BS degree with 2-4 years of industry experience.
  • Scientist II: BS degree with 4-6 years of industry experience. MS degree with relevant graduate research and 0-3 years of industry experience (preferred).

What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification?

  • Experience with process modeling and scientific programming
