Position Overview:

 

  • We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic DevOps team.
  • This team is responsible for managing, operating, and extending an Agile-based platform for software development within the Capital Markets division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation for the runtime environment, supporting the Nimble Development Methodology (NDM) solutions.
  • Automate the provisioning of computing, network, and storage resources.
  • Build and maintain software deployment automation solutions.
  • Design, implement, and facilitate interface solutions with enterprise service management systems.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to maximize productivity using NDM principles.
  • Maintain the integrity of the production environment, embracing the extended support model.

Your Impact:

  • As part of the Capital Markets division, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the production platform used to manage critical business functions such as debt funding, liquidity management, and securitization.
  • The platform supports over 200 software professionals and ensures consistency across development, integration, pre-production, and production environments.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with Linux/Unix administration.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux containers.
  • 6 - 10 years of relevant professional experience in a DevOps environment.
  • Expertise in operating system platform configuration, specifically RHEL.
  • Experience with automated configuration management using Ansible.
  • Expertise in high availability techniques, including failover and load balancing.
  • Strong knowledge of business continuity and wide-area resiliency.
  • Proficient in scripting languages: Bash, Python, and Groovy.
  • Experience with software containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS.
