Job Title: Python Developer
Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Pay rate: $65-$75 per hour

Responsibilities:

Design and implement web-based applications using Python
Develop specifications and designs for complex applications
Perform code analysis, requirements analysis, and system risk analysis
SQL performance tuning and ability to write complex SQL queries
Collaborate with design teams and business owners to define and implement features
Evaluate and suggest improvements to existing development work
Work with the development team to validate requirements, design interfaces, and workflows
Use standard code management tools and Agile software development processes
Provide L3 production support for Python-based I&CM core applications
Provide solutions to technical issues and drive for tactical outcomes to increase team efficiency
Engage with business users and application owners during problem resolution
Document lessons learned and help maintain knowledge database
Coordinate end-to-end application onboarding to production
Occasional off-hour deployment and application validation support
