Responsibilities:
  • Provide project management oversight for Compression Site Managed projects
  • Define project scope, prepare project schedules, update schedules, propose project budgets, and manage projects to prevent cost overruns
  • Ensure project team has necessary supplies and human resources to complete projects on time and on budget
  • Identify and minimize potential risks to project timeline and budget
  • Communicate project progression to management and ensure quality of team's work and materials used
  • Maintain positive customer interface addressing project scope, safety, quality, schedule, and cost issues
  • Collaborate with support groups and engineering firms to ensure high-quality and timely support for projects
  • Perform presentations when appropriate and travel to job locations within Michigan for meetings and training
  • Work a flexible schedule supporting department and plant needs, typically 40-50 hours per week

    Education Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required; post-baccalaureate degree may be preferred
  • Previous experience in a related role, potentially in a leadership position
  • Good understanding of project management, financial management, and budgeting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Project Management Professional certification preferred

  • Effective communication skills, including conflict resolution
  • Ability to solve problems quickly using project management methodologies
