Job Summary: The O365 Engineer (SharePoint Specialist) will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of SharePoint environments within the Office 365 suite. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, administration, and customization to support business needs and enhance collaboration across the organization.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Design, deploy, and manage SharePoint Online environments.
  • Develop and implement SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, web parts, and site templates.
  • Perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of SharePoint sites and related O365 services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of SharePoint environments, including data governance and access controls.
  • Provide end-user support and training on SharePoint features and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize SharePoint environments for efficiency and reliability.
  • Stay current with O365 and SharePoint updates, features, and best practices.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint administration and development.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 services, particularly SharePoint Online.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and modern SharePoint development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate or Expert.
  • Experience with migration tools such as ShareGate or Metalogix.
  • Knowledge of other O365 services like Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
