About the Role:

• The ideal candidate will have a BS in Science (Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or related fields) and prior experience working in a laboratory setting.

Pay Range: $24 - $25

Responsibilities: -

• Conduct experiments and handle laboratory equipment
• Assist technical personnel in microbial cultivation and enumeration
• Perform routine laboratory tasks in support of scientific research
• Adhere to safety protocols and EH&S standards
• Use of safety procedures and appropriate PPE
• Follow SOPs and adhere to laboratory safety procedures

Education Qualification: -

• BS in Science (Biology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or related fields)

Required Skills: -

• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and techniques
• Knowledge of chemical & analytical skills and equipment setup
• Demonstrated experience using aseptic techniques and microbial cultivation
• Ability to work safely in a laboratory setting while handling hazardous materialsAttention to detail and high ethical standards
• Experience with automated liquid handler (preferred)
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience working in a research environment
