Job Title: Payroll/Tax Analyst

Duration: 6 months contract 

Location: Nashville, TN

Hybrid: 3 day Onsite and 2 day Remote

Pay Range: $30/hr - $35/hr

Must-Haves:

 

  • 5+ years experience working in Payroll Tax - strong understanding of Gross Pay and Net Pay
  • Experience with refunds, amended returns, filing state taxes
  • Multi-state tax experience, a large company with many states across the country.
  • Understanding of Reciprocity - if you work in one state and live in another - locals' tax experience

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Working through tax notices and tax setup issues, tax registrations (with states), and documenting everything, could be individuals are set up incorrectly in the system so they can walk through an employee record.
  • Auditing (critical thinking) of analyzing data – someone who is working in a certain location and if they are set up appropriately to be paid in that location.
