Responsibilities:

Supplier Component Development Engineer is responsible for activities related to supplier selection and evaluation, material specification development, material procurement and evaluation, material qualifications including supplier OQ/PQ validations, test method development (e.g., on MicroVu, CMM, tensile/torque testers, hand tools) and various data analysis.
Contributes to the development, establishment and maintenance of supplier engineering methodologies, systems and practices which meet regulatory requirements, and deliverables require constant collaboration between different internal functional groups and well as different suppliers and their internal personnel.

Required:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree Related field. Or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Master's Degree Preferred.
Working technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices and procedures.
4-6 year of relevant experience.
General understanding of business unit/group function.
Will perform this job in a quality system environment.
Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Have a broad knowledge of technical alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the system's environment.
