Job title: Data Security (Project Manager)

Location: Houston,TX 78288 (5 day on-site)

Pay Range: $60-64

• PCI DSS Compliance:
• Lead the development and execution of PCI DSS compliance projects, including risk assessments, vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and remediation plans.
• Monitor and track progress against PCI DSS requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant security standards.
• Data Security Initiatives:
• Define and prioritize data security initiatives based on risk assessments and business needs.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for data security projects.
• Track project progress and identify and mitigate potential roadblocks.
• Communicate project status and risks to stakeholders effectively.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep understanding of data security concepts, including encryption, tokenization, access control, and data loss prevention.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and technologies.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data security, with a strong focus on PCI DSS compliance.
• Proven experience in managing and delivering data security projects.
• Strong understanding of data security concepts, technologies, and best practices.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
