Job Description:
Why this role is open:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to optimize our operations and provide essential technical support to 30-60 end users.
Mission:
- To ensure the smooth running of our warehouse operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain a reliable IT infrastructure.
Day to Day:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues at packing stations.
- Assist office employees with technical problems, including software installations and network connectivity.
- Write and maintain custom scripts in PHP and SQL to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Configure and maintain Windows and Azure servers.
- Installation, support, and maintenance of network servers, computer equipment and connection of peripherals.
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues.
- Configuring software, modifying software configuration, and performing basic configuration management
- Planning for and responding to service outages and other problems.
- Providing software application assistance for commonly used office automation applications
- Implementing client workstations software patches, security fixes and service releases.
- Identifying, analyzing, and documenting long range requirements.
Must Haves:
- Strong proficiency in Windows administration.
- Intermediate SQL experience to read/write and understand queries and PHP programming languages.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with network administration, including wired and wireless networks.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Pluses:
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
