About the Role:

The Protein Sciences Department is looking for a Scientist to join the Protein Characterization & Developability team in South San Francisco.
This role involves working closely with various teams to conduct high throughput biophysical screening, molecule optimization, and developability assessments for early biologics discovery.

Responsibilities: -

Utilize analytical tools for protein chemistry and biophysical characterization of biologics - Conduct hands-on characterization of monoclonal antibodies, bi-/multi-specifics, fusion proteins, ADCs, etc. -
Collaborate with internal teams and project teams to select the best candidate molecules for further development -
Document procedures, methods, data, and results in electronic laboratory notebooks - Work on multiple projects and meet aggressive timelines -
Present findings and communicate effectively with team members

Education Qualification:

BS/BA degree in Biophysics/Biochemistry or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience OR
MS degree in Biophysics/Biochemistry or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
