About the Role:

  • The main responsibility of this role is to professionally and enthusiastically handle incoming calls and electronic requests from patients, family members, and external parties.

Pay Range: $16 -$17

Responsibilities: -

  • Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely registration of new patients
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information in patient records
  • Verify insurance coverage or determine patient self-pay responsibility
  • Schedule appointments for patients and family members
  • Interpret physician orders to schedule appointments and ancillary tests
  • Communicate appointment details, preparation instructions, and necessary paperwork to patients
  • Write patient-related messages and coordinate immediate triage for emergent patient situations
  • Calm upset callers and escalate priority issues for resolution

Education Qualification: -

  • High School diploma or GED

Required Skills: -

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong data entry, numeric, typing, and computer navigational skills
  • Experience in a call center, customer service, or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Familiarity with call center telephony and technology
  • Ability to quickly assess requests and respond accurately to customers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
