Job Title: Hadoop Developer 

Locations: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr.

Duration: 12-18 Months (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Hadoop Developer to join our team and participate in the development and support of Global Financial Crime Technology - Automated AML Monitoring systems. The role involves working closely with various business partners to convert regulatory and internal control requirements into monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, enhance, and support applications that integrate with existing business components.
• Work with different technology stacks and lead onsite/offshore application team members using Agile processes.
• Coordinate with business to understand requirements and analyze the impact of change requests.
• Communicate work progress with management, identifying and resolving issues quickly.
• Provide on-call support for critical systems and applications.
• Develop and support enterprise-level applications and processes

Required Qualifications:

• Strong experience in complex SQL query, PL/SQL programming.
• Proficiency in software design, build, test, and documentation.
• Proven track record in project delivery in an Agile environment.
• Excellent organization and team skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and communicate effectively across various areas.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in one or more of Teradata, Oracle PL/SQL, Hadoop, Python/Spark, SAS, Autosys, Perl/Unix scripting, Java, or similar technologies.
• Good knowledge of banking products, operational processes, and end-to-end transaction flow.
• Knowledge in Anti-Money Laundering.
