Job Title: Application Support Engineer (Payment/ Swift)

Pay range: $50-55/hr 

Location: Chandler, AZ/ Jersey City, NJ/ Plano, TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to manage incident resolution, application troubleshooting, and infrastructure maintenance for production environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with SWIFT software, Unix/Linux systems, database queries, and troubleshooting application issues.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to application support requests from business, operations, and interfacing application teams during on-call schedules.
• Manage and resolve incidents in production environments for assigned applications.
• Track and troubleshoot problems in production systems, ensuring timely resolution.
• Execute change tasks per application team instructions within the production environment.
• Schedule and oversee infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Monitor jobs and promptly respond to job alerts.
• Support release and deployment activities as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with SWIFT software and SWIFT applications.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of Oracle Database structure and ability to run SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Weblogic, IIS, and WebSphere MQ.
• Experience troubleshooting data issues and understanding HTTP protocols.
• Ability to make API calls through HTTP.
• Strong scripting and automation skills.
• Experience in troubleshooting applications and reviewing application logs.
• Familiarity with Remedy Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize technical issues in a business-friendly manner.
