Title: Site Reliability Engineer/Analyst 

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)     

Duration: 12-18 months  

Rate range: $55-$58/hr 

 

Mission: Ensure the stability, efficiency, and reliability of critical trading applications by providing proactive monitoring, rapid issue resolution, and seamless release implementations. Act as a key technical support resource, collaborating with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams to minimize system disruptions and enhance overall trading operations. 

Must Haves: 

  • Python Scripting (for Release & Post-Release Testing) – Automate testing, monitor system changes, and troubleshoot issues. 
  • Report Generation & Data Analysis (Tableau & MS Office) – Create reports, dashboards, and analyze system performance trends. 
  • Batch Management – Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot batch jobs in trading applications. 

Plusses: 

  •  UI Development – Experience in front-end technologies for enhancing user interfaces in trading applications. 
  • JavaScript – Ability to write scripts for front-end enhancements and application automation. 
  • Trade Application Experience & Bankruptcy Knowledge – Understanding of trade workflows and risk management processes related to bankruptcy scenarios.
