Title: Network Analyst
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Possess good NERC-CIP knowledge and SME (Subject Matter Expert) during audits.
• Planning, design, and installation of routers, switches, or other network components
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the following: spanning tree, routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLAN technologies, WAN protocols.
• Conduct network troubleshooting using network protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Possess good working knowledge and experience in planning, design, installation, and support of LAN (Ethernet, Gig-Ethernet).
• Possesses good working knowledge and experience in Industrial
• Control Systems (ICS) protocols such as CONITEL, DNP, Modbus, and 68150.
• Possess good working knowledge of cybersecurity.
• Conduct knowledge transfer activities with peers or other support groups.
• Responsible for vendor comparisons as needed.
  Maintain network drawings.
• Provide testing for new network hardware and software solutions.
• Accountable for adhering to the Change Management process for network-related incidents.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a member of the technical team on selected large-scale substation networking projects.
• Provides support, testing, and troubleshooting for all business applications.
• Utilize intelligent network management tools to isolate problems or improve network performance

Skills:

• Minimum 6 years of experience that includes network design, operational support, hands-on implementation, and configuration of network devices such as routers and switches.
• NERC-CIP knowledge
• Desired Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCENT.
