DAY TO DAY

•  Analyze data to determine accuracy, completeness of data relationships between different data sets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and objectives
• Gather and document business and functional requirements, designs and develops reports, dashboards and ad hoc analyses using databases, business intelligence tools and desktop analysis tools
• Collaborates with project managers and technical leads to ensure project implementation
• Design and build data models and build data product roadmaps to support business processes
• Responsible for prototyping solutions, preparing test scripts, and conducting tests and for data replication, extraction, loading, cleansing, and data modeling for data warehouses
• Manage and/or support data gathering request which require complex company data requirements gathering/ translation/ interpretation of customer source systems
• Analyze data from client systems in accordance with business requirements
• Develop and implement data strategies to support business objectives
• Create data visualizations and reports to communicate findings
• Optimize data collection and processing procedures
• Prepare clear and concise data reports, dashboards, and presentations for non-technical audiences
• Implement data management and quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of data

MUST HAVES

•  7+ years of working with data analysis and visualization tools
• 4+ years working as a Data Engineer
•  Experience working with data migrations and/or implementations
• AWS exposure 
• Hands on experience with ETL tools (Infosphere, Informatica)
• Experience with a wide variety of database technologies, both relational and non-relational such as MYSQL, Postgres, NOSQL
• Experience with big data technologies- preferably Spark, Hadoop and Snowflake
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with data governance and data quality practices

Pay Rate: $60/hr- $65/hr
