Must Haves:

• Software Development Experience
• Experience with Backend Development and Architecture in a Payments environment
• Strong experience with MongoDB (top skill)
• Strong experience with Kafka (top skill)
• Messaging Solutions experience with MQ
• Senior experience working in a Java environment
• Knowledge of security best practices for payment systems (PCI DSS, OAuth, JWT)
• Experience working in an Agile in environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for payment processing
• Build and enhance event-driven architectures using Kafka, MQ, and Hyper Format messaging solutions
• Develop high-performance APIs for seamless integration with front-end systems and external payment networks
• Develop best practices for code quality, performance optimization, and security
• Utilize MongoDB and relational databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Use JIRA and Confluence to document and track development progress, ensuring clarity on system design and architectures
