Must Have:

• • Red Hat Linux Expertise (12+ Years):
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux (6/7/8/9).
  • Deep understanding of Red Hat Linux system administration, configuration, performance monitoring, and tuning.
  • Hardware Support:
  • Experience supporting  hardware platforms.
  • Hardware troubleshooting skills.
  • LEAPP Upgrade Management:
  • Experience supporting LEAPP in-place upgrades.
  • Ability to triage LEAPP upgrade failures and perform rollbacks.
  • Incident Management & Triage:
  • Proficiency in performing triage of business-impacted incidents.
  • Ability to restore incidents to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Experience with 9x5 incident support (weekday/weekend).
  • Root Cause Analysis:
  • Strong skills in performing root cause analysis of incidents.
  • Troubleshooting & Collaboration:
  • Solid troubleshooting skills to triage with diverse technology partners.
  • Network Understanding:
  • Understanding of TCP/IP and ability to troubleshoot latency or performance issues.
  • Storage Knowledge:
  • Understanding of SAN/NAS technology and experience supporting server-side related issues.
  • Large-Scale Environment Management:
  • Experience managing large global environments (55,000+ Linux virtual servers).
  • ITIL Process Adherence:
  • Understanding and adherence to ITIL incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Documentation:
  • Ability to create and maintain Wiki documentation of lessons learned.
  • Red Hat Cluster Services Certification:
  • RedHat Cluster Services Certification.
  • Security Awareness:
  • Experience supporting DMZ environment and familiarity with IPsec.
  Plus Skills:
  • Logical Volume Management (LVM):
  • Experience supporting LVM.
