Location: Plano, TX 

Pay range: $50/hr-$60/hr

Responsbilities:

• Write Ansible playbooks for automating configuration management, software installation, and application deployment on Linux servers.
• Write Python scripts to automate complex tasks, support system-level operations, and create tools for improving system efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure the seamless operation of application infrastructure and core internal components, continuously monitoring systems to maintain their health and performance.
• Detect and address application issues in supported infrastructures before they affect users, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.
• Oversee the smooth deployment of software releases, managing the release lifecycle and providing troubleshooting support to resolve issues during or after deployment.
• Respond quickly to incidents, efficiently identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure minimal disruption to services.

Must Have:

• 10+ years experience with Linux OS internals and Operational OS skills.

• Expertise in handling overall IT Infrastructure Scheduled maintenance.

• Experience scripting with Python

• Experience working with Confluence and/or Remedy Systems

• Experience writing ansible playbooks

• Monitoring of the Core environment components.

• Efficient in handling Incident and problem management.

• Excellent Operational skills, troubleshooting Production issues and identifying Root Cause Prevention.

Nice To Have: Skilled in Dynatrace and/or Splunk
